Attention Democratic Voters: Protect Our Democratic Values — Write In Ann Marie Brown and Dennis Cannon!

Are you a registered Democrat that lives in the Penn Delco School district? If you live in Parkside Borough, Aston Township, or Brookhaven Borough, then this message is for you!

Primary Election Day is May 20 — and your vote will decide who appears on the November 2025 ballot for Penn-Delco School Board.

School Board Importance

  • The Penn-Delco School Board consists of nine members who serve four-year terms.

  • They are responsible for budget decisions, curriculum standards, hiring the superintendent, and long-term planning.

  • Local elections — especially primaries — play a crucial role because many voters are unaware of cross-filing, which can let Republican candidates win seats by appearing on both ballots, even in Democratic-leaning communities.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • There will be 4 names listed on your ballot this Tuesday for School Director. They are not Democrats.

  • Ann Marie Brown and Dennis Cannon are the only true Democrats running for School Director.

  • They have launched official write-in campaigns because Republican candidates have cross-filed and will appear on the Democratic ballot.

  • Cross-filing allows Republicans to appear as Democratic choices — but they are not Democrats.

🚫 Do not check any other boxes under the School District races — those candidates are Republicans, not Democrats.
