Each member of our team brings a unique voice and perspective, but we’re united by a shared mission: to support Democratic values, empower our community, and ensure that every voter has a voice.

ChairTheo McCleary has served as Chair of the Parkside Democrats since 2024, bringing passion, transparency, and a people-first mindset to local politics. A Parkside resident since 2011, Theo is deeply rooted in the community and driven by a commitment to public service, civic engagement, and neighborhood empowerment.
Inspired by his upbringing and influenced by his mother’s work as a union leader and social worker, Theo believes politics should serve the people—not the other way around. As Chair, he leads with the Parkside Dems’ core values of equity, accountability, and progress, working to build bridges between residents, elected officials, and future leaders.

Vice ChairA Parkside resident since 2018, Kyle brings a calm, thoughtful, and community-centered approach to local leadership. Whether she's advocating for wellness, equity, or civic engagement, Kyle leads with compassion and a deep commitment to improving lives at the local level.
Originally from Dunkirk, NY, Kyle moved to Delaware County in 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Chemistry from Buffalo State College and a Master’s in Social Work from West Chester University. Her career in population health as an outpatient social worker reflects her passion for behavioral health, recovery, and strengthening community systems.

Monthly Parkside Democratic Committee meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Contact us for more details.
Civility & Respect
We encourage discourse so constituents have a voice in their government and welcome questions and comments. We believe leaders should lead by example and treat people with respect.
We are committed to keeping meetings about borough business. We will acknowledge all questions, comments, and concerns brought forth by borough residents and provide appropriate follow-up.
We are dedicated to making Parkside inclusive of all residents - just because we may disagree does not mean we have to be disagreeable.
Community Engagement & Participation
We believe elected officials should not only work for you, but also WITH you. We welcome and encourage active participation and inclusion in running our borough.
We would like to create more opportunities for residents to come together, collaborate, and build relationships, regardless of political affiliation.
Transparency
We are committed to open communication and believe borough information should be easy to access.
Central to this commitment will be an easy-to-navigate website consistently updated with information on borough events, advanced notice of meeting agendas, contact information for all Parkside officials, and specific information about how and where your tax dollars are being spent.
We recognize that not all residents communicate in the same way, and acknowledge a need to provide information through multiple channels.

Our candidates understand that running our town is a role of public service.
