Matt Saunders works as an Electrician in the Security and Fire Protection Industry. He is a graduate of Cardinal O'Hara HS in Springfield, and attended the Pennsylvania State University and served in the United States Air Force for four years.

Matt and his wife Judy organized Parkside Day in 2007 and 2008. He has coached Brookhaven Girls Softball for the past five years and served as a member of the
Parkside Election Board for the last two election.

Matt is 44 years old and has been married for 15 years. He has two daughters ages 13 and 7. He has been a resident of Parkside for the past thirteen years and a Delco resident for 28 years.
